Oil Blender Structure & Application: Single vs Multi-Nozzle Selection

The oil blender (also called rotary jet blender or self-spinning jet) is a specialized device for mixing liquid materials in the petrochemical industry, mainly used for blending and anti-sedimentation in crude oil, fuel oil, lubricating oil, gasoline, diesel and jet fuel tanks.

Structurally, oil blenders come in single-nozzle and multi-nozzle types: single-nozzle units are usually streamlined cones, while multi-nozzle units come in 5- and 7-nozzle combinations that shorten circulation time, reduce energy and cut evaporation loss. Bodies are mostly 304 stainless steel with common nominal pressures of 1.6MPa or 2.0MPa and diameters from DN100 to DN300.

Selection should be based on tank volume and diameter, oil type and viscosity, and the blending pump's flow and head to determine nozzle angle, aperture and structure length. By optimizing nozzle angle and aperture, high-precision, large-ratio blending can be achieved with energy-saving, safety and maintenance-free advantages.
